Princess Anne, the Princess Royal and sister to King Charles III, suffered from a minor head injury.
The incident occurred while she was walking on the grounds of her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, England
There were horses in the vicinity at the time of the incident and her medical team said the head injuries were consistent with impact from a horse’s head or legs.
She was taken to the Southmead Hospital for checkup and treatment of the aftereffects.
As per sources she suffered from with minor injuries and a concussion.
“I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay,” her husband Tim Laurence said.
She returned home Friday morning after spending five nights in the hospital ,
Public figures, including Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Keir Starmer, sent well wishes for a speedy recovery,
The Palace had said on Monday that she was expected to make a full recovery from the injury.
However, her upcoming engagements have been postponed.
