GTA 6 trailer fuels PS5 and Xbox X/S sales surge

The first ever GTA 6 trailer came out from Rockstar Games, it gained over 195 million views, signifying beyond measure anticipation.

In the trailer, the creators disclosed that GTA 6 is to be launched in 2025 for the PS and Xbox X/S series only.

This came as a surprise to gamers because previous GTA games were also made for the PC but the reason for this is to increase console sales.

The trailer developed into the most popular in history, with 93 million of viewings in one day.

This form of launch might help increase PS 5 and Xbox X/Series’ sales even more in 2025 if it is console specific.

The PS5 sales in the year 2023 were lower by 0.2 million sets, a YoY decline of 29 percent.
